Men’s League 2025
Fee: $25 to be paid either at the Pro-Shop or by e-transfer to accounts@northumberlandlinks.com.
Please ensure you get a receipt for your payment.
Weekly Sign-Up Process: If you wish to play, please reply to the weekly email received from northumberlandmensleague@gmail.com by 6:00 pm on Tues. Please indicate whether you require a power cart. Carts will be shared. You will receive your tee time confirmation from the club in the normal manner by noon on Wednesday each week. If you need to cancel after receiving your tee time confirmation, you must contact the Pro-Shop directly.
Scoring: Each week participants will be advised of the game to be played at the first tee. Scorecards will be provided for each foursome. Each foursome will assign a scorer. After completing the round, the foursome scorer will hand in the group card to the overall scorer. Prizes will be awarded each week in the form of Gift Certificates to be used at the Club. Handicaps used for scoring will be updated weekly.
Ringer Board: The Ringer Board will track your best gross score on each hole over the season. The Ringer Board will be updated each week with any hole-by-hole improvement in score. Depending on the number of participants, prize groups will be established by handicap range. Last year we had 6 groups. At the end of the Men’s League season, the winner of each group will receive $25. Ties will share $25.
50/50 Draw: Each week Laurie Brown will manage the Men’s League 50/50 draw. Tickets are 3 for $5. Proceeds from the 50/50 draw are used to help fund a year end closing event, such as a BBQ or sit-down luncheon.
Closest-to-the-Pin: Two of the four par 3’s will be selected each week for the Closest-to-the-Pin competition. Participants will be advised of the holes to be used when teeing off the 1st tee.
We hope you’ll join us. Looking forward to a great season on our further enhanced course.
John and his team have been busy over the past months creating an even more exciting golf experience for us to enjoy!
